Ads when the app starts, extra adds after and before the over-the-air ads, then a couple of minutes of actual news cast, then more ads.

I enjoy getting notifications of breaking news stories to stay on top of the events of the day.

The WUSA app is a wonderful source for up to date news in the DMV and beyond.

I can always count on WUSA9 to keep me informed with weather and news.

Really like WUSA9 New but when it comes to the weather, I live in St. Mary’s County MD and can’t see our weather forecast because of the ads at the bottom of the screen.

Overall, the app is good to watch, but the commercials you have to watch when opening the app to view content are very annoying! Wish they could be removed! Otherwise would give it 5 stars.

Great content and quick to report

Channel 9 continues to remain on point. At times it also makes me laugh or smile during the Wake up DC show. I also like the refreshing and relevant “Verify” segment that clarifies facts from fiction or just right out right false information to the Washington Metro people. As COVID-19 pandemic tests our patience, faith and daily ability to coop regardless of society. I also like how you also celebrate the heroes amongst us. We need to celebrate each others efforts during these time to give our communities hope and to make caring for each other contagious in good way. It’s refreshing to hear and see a diverse reporter team that has each other’s back and enjoys their jobs. Thanks for standing out, and being industry leaders as a News Organization. Continue to set the bar high so other news organizations follow your lead and represents our country. You Rock!!!!!

They have a sense of broad reporting that covers a large spectrum of news. They do a good job at it too.

When Allison Seymour switched to WUSA, I started utilizing the app. Best local news app!

I agree with all the high ratings with as-it-happens news reporting, great reporters, etc. But low ranking due to the app’s operations. Very choppy and too many click ads. But don’t rely on my rating and certainly don’t take other’s high ratings in stride. Check out other news apps, not just in the local DC area, but throughout the country.

Won’t watch no other news and love everyone on channel 9 such a fun group always giving us great laughs and up to date news!
